Having been available for several weeks, the Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ now have a new companion—the non-Pro Realme 16, which was officially launched in Vietnam today. It is expected to expand to additional markets shortly.

The Realme 16 distinguishes itself from its Pro counterparts with a modern “Air Design,” drawing inspiration from both the iPhone Air and the Google Pixel series, characterized by its camera visor on the back.

This camera visor contains a 50MP main sensor (IMX852) complemented by a 2MP monochrome sensor, enhancing photography with Realme’s LumaColor Image processing technology. A unique feature of the device is a selfie mirror on the edge, enabling users to capture selfies using the main rear camera.
Display and Performance
The Realme 16 features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display boasting FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It reaches a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and is reinforced with AGC DT-Star D+ tempered glass. The front camera matches the rear with its 50MP resolution and is accompanied by an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB.
Durability and Battery
The Realme 16 is designed to be both slim at 8.1mm and lightweight at 183 grams. It comes with impressive IP66/68/69/69K ingress protection—making it robust against dust and water. Additionally, it houses a hefty 7,000 mAh battery, supporting 60W fast charging for quick power-ups.
Color Options and Pricing
The smartphone will be available in two color variants: White Swan and Black Cloud. In Vietnam, the pricing starts at VND 11,490,000 ($443) for the 8GB/256GB model, progressing to VND 12,490,000 ($481) for the 12GB/256GB version.
