Results from last week’s poll indicate that while the Motorola Signature shows significant promise, there are several areas where Motorola could falter. Here’s a breakdown of public opinion.
First, while a slim design is appealing, a larger battery is more essential. The feedback indicated that a 5,200mAh battery is inadequate for a device featuring a 6.8” display. Although brands like Apple, Samsung, and Google may disagree, users expressed collective concerns about battery life in their comments.
Market availability was another prominent topic. Although the phone is set to launch soon in Europe and India, many regions, including the US, remain uncertain. Currently, Motorola stands as one of the few brands available in the US alongside the previously mentioned giants.

Pricing also emerged as a significant concern, with nearly 25% of respondents indicating they would wait for a price reduction before considering a purchase of the Signature. This hesitation is understandable, considering that Moto Edge and Razr models typically undergo substantial price cuts a few months post-launch, and the €1,000 tag for a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (non-Elite) device is indeed steep.
Approximately 20% of voters expressed a desire to acquire the phone immediately, with some already having pre-ordered. However, an equal percentage is opting to wait for reviews. Although the specifications look good on paper, previous negative experiences with older Motorola models have led some users to adopt a wait-and-see approach.
Motorola has planned an event for January 23 to officially unveil the Signature in India. While the exact price has not been disclosed, it has reportedly leaked. We expect availability to follow closely after the launch event. Updates regarding the launch in Europe will be provided as they become available.
