An official render of the Google Pixel 10a has surfaced. Before we delve into the details, let’s confirm that we aren’t mistakenly showcasing the Pixel 9a image. Joking aside, it's been anticipated that the upcoming model wouldn’t feature a new design.

Earlier, we were treated to CAD-based renders of the device. In August, Google indicated that significant Pixel redesigns would occur every two to three years. Given that the 9a made notable changes from the 8a, we likely won’t see a new design until at least the 11a.
This isn’t necessarily a drawback, as there are few phones featuring a 6.3” display (the Pixel 10a's display measures approximately 6.285”). At this price point, the slightly chunky bezels are expected.
Moreover, how many smartphones maintain a flush or nearly flush camera setup? Notably, the camera will continue to utilize a dual-lens arrangement, now with a somewhat larger camera island. Leaked specifications suggest a 48MP main (f/1.7) and a 13MP ultra-wide (f/2.2) camera.

The 6.3” OLED display will feature a 120Hz refresh rate, although it won’t be an LTPO panel. Maintaining continuity, the battery capacity remains at 5,100mAh with 23W charging, consistent with the 9a.
This might extend to the chipset as well—leaked source code suggests that the 10a will be powered by the same Tensor G4 as its predecessor. It will come with 8GB of RAM and options for either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. While the Tensor G5 boasts a significant performance upgrade over the G4, it still lags behind the top chips from Qualcomm and MediaTek.

Although the 9a was introduced in mid-March, latest rumors suggest that the Google Pixel 10a might see an earlier launch, possibly in stores by mid-February. It is expected to be available in four color variants: Obsidian, Berry, Fog, and Lavender. For comparison, the previous 9a was offered in Obsidian, Peony, Porcelain, and Iris.
