The Redmi Turbo 5 Pro has recently appeared on Geekbench, providing insights into the forthcoming chipsets from MediaTek. The model number 2602BRT18C corresponds with a listing we observed in a 3C certification a few weeks ago.
This device is expected to feature the Dimensity 9500e chipset. According to Geekbench, the motherboard is identified as "dash". The CPU consists of eight cores arranged as follows: 1 core at 3.73GHz, 3 cores at 3.30GHz, and 4 cores at 2.40GHz. The GPU is an Immortalis-G925 MC12, operating at a base clock of 339MHz and capable of boosting to 622MHz.
Redmi Turbo 5 Pro (2602BRT18C) Geekbench Result
The CPU clock speeds and GPU specifications align closely with the Dimensity 9400+, which features 1 Cortex-X925 core at 3.73GHz, 3 Cortex-X4 cores at 3.30GHz, and 4 Cortex-A720 cores at 2.40GHz. This correlation is anticipated as the Dimensity 9400e was a rebranded version of the 9300+, making it likely that the 9500e is derived from the 9400+ architecture.
Beyond the chipset, the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro is rumored to come equipped with a substantial 9,000mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging. Additionally, it is expected to feature an LTPS OLED display with a "1.5K" resolution and an ultrasonic fingerprint reader. Other speculated features include a metal frame and stereo speakers.
Purported Redmi Turbo 5 Max Renders
Xiaomi has also teased the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, along with a standard model. The Max variant is expected to fall within the CNY 2,500 price range ($360/€305/₹32,500). Renderings of this model can be viewed here.
The initial model of the Turbo 4 series was released on January 2, 2025, but that schedule has since passed. The Turbo 4 Pro launched in late April, leading us to anticipate that the Turbo 5 series will debut around that time, or potentially even sooner, given the recent surge of benchmark results on Geekbench.
