We had the opportunity to get a closer look at the new Reno15 series during Oppo's special global launch event. This article provides a brief overview of the Indian Reno15 Pro, which is marketed as the Reno15 Pro Max in select other regions.
To clarify, the Indian Reno15 Pro features a 6.78-inch display, while the Indian Reno15 Pro Mini, which has a 6.32-inch screen, is known as the Reno15 Pro in markets outside India.
The current lineup in India includes the Reno15 Pro Mini on the left (referred to as Reno15 Pro elsewhere), the Reno15 in the center, and the Reno15 Pro (known as the Reno15 Pro Max outside of India) on the right.

The Reno15 and Reno15 Pro Mini models boast a distinctive texture on their backs, which creates a lustrous effect when illuminated. In contrast, the Reno15 Pro offers a sleek matte finish that is both pleasing to the touch and resistant to smudges and fingerprints.
The rear camera array on the Reno15 Pro comprises a 24mm f/1.8 wide-angle lens with a 200MP sensor, an 85mm (3.5x) f/2.8 telephoto lens featuring a 50MP sensor, and a 50MP sensor paired with a 16mm f/2.0 ultrawide lens with autofocus. Additionally, there's a 50MP sensor on the front for the 18mm f/2.0 selfie camera.
From a design perspective, the 1.8mm AG glass camera module is seamlessly integrated with the rear panel, which Oppo refers to as sculpted glass. The varied finishes beneath the glass produce different reflections, while the square ring encircling the camera module can emit a soft glow when illuminated. This innovative use of glass is quite appealing.
Reno15 Pro cameras
The Indian version of the Pro features a 6.78-inch display with a resolution of 1272x2772 pixels, utilizing a 120Hz AMOLED panel that can reach a peak brightness of 1,800 nits.
Despite its solid construction, the phone is surprisingly lightweight at just 205g and only 7.65mm thick.
In terms of specifications, the Reno15 Pro (also known as Pro Max outside India) features a powerful 4nm Dimensity 8450 chipset, offering configurations with up to 12GB of RAM and storage options of either 256GB or 512GB.
The pricing for the Reno15 Pro is set at INR 67,999 for the 12/256GB variant and INR 72,999 for the 12/512GB model.
