Honor has officially announced the launch date for the Magic8 RSR Porsche Edition, unveiling its design and color options. The company has also released a teaser video showcasing the device from various perspectives.
The Honor Magic8 RSR Porsche Edition will make its debut on January 19 in China, alongside the Magic8 Pro Air.

This flagship device will feature a triple rear camera setup within a newly redesigned camera module, moving away from the hexagonal design seen on the previous Magic7 RSR Porsche Edition.
It will be available in two color options: Moonlight Stone and Slate Grey, upon its release in China.

Additionally, tipster DCS has disclosed some key specifications of the Magic8 RSR Porsche Edition. The phone is expected to feature a 6.71-inch LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution, powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. It will be equipped with a 7,200mAh battery that supports 120W wired and 80W wireless charging.
Camera-wise, the device is rumored to include a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 200MP periscope telephoto unit with 3.7x optical zoom, along with a 50MP selfie camera. The upcoming smartphone may offer up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, satellite communication capabilities, and a dedicated camera button.
