Realme has announced the upcoming launch of the Neo8 this month, revealing its rear design and confirming that the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC.
The Neo8 has reportedly appeared in the Geekbench online database under the model number RMX8899. According to the listing, it achieved a single-core score of 2,876 and a multi-core score of 9,245 in Geekbench 6.5. As always, it's important to take benchmark results for unreleased devices with a grain of caution.

This benchmark listing confirms the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and indicates that one configuration will include 16GB of RAM. Additionally, the Neo8 will run on Android 16 out of the box.
Previous rumors suggest that the Neo8 will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 16MP selfie camera, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, a metal frame, as well as IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The device is also expected to come with an 8,000 mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging.
