Recent flagship smartphones released in 2025 have seen significant price increases compared to their predecessors, a trend likely to continue this year due to escalating component costs among other factors. However, recent rumors from South Korea suggest that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 series might not follow this trend.
A South Korean publication indicates that Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy S26 series at the same prices as the Galaxy S25 lineup, in an effort to maintain its market share against competitors like Apple and various Chinese smartphone manufacturers.
It is important to note that this price freeze is specific to the U.S. market; in other regions, including Samsung’s home country of South Korea, prices may be higher.
