In September, we reported that Honor was set to equip its upcoming Magic V6 foldable smartphone with a 200MP main camera, as part of a broader strategy to enhance its future premium devices.
Today, a new source from Weibo confirms this information, stating that the Magic V6 will indeed sport a 200MP camera. Furthermore, this latest claim suggests that all forthcoming Chinese foldable smartphones will include at least one 200MP camera.
Honor Magic V5The Magic V5 was launched in July, indicating that its successor may still be some time away. According to earlier reports, the Magic V6 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with either a 6,900 mAh or a 7,200 mAh battery.
In addition to the 200MP main camera, the device is expected to include a periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The Magic V6 will likely incorporate a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and exhibit an ultra-slim profile.
