Samsung's upcoming premium A-series smartphone, the Galaxy A57, is set to debut with a flexible OLED display, marking a first for the series. A report indicates that Chinese manufacturer CSOT will supply the new panel.
Although CSOT will not be the exclusive supplier of the flexible OLED panels for the Galaxy A57, this represents a significant shift for Samsung, as the company typically sources its displays from its own subsidiary, Samsung Display.
The Galaxy A56 features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display.Reports suggest that Samsung Display will provide a larger volume of units compared to CSOT. The introduction of a flexible OLED panel is expected to allow the Galaxy A57 to feature thinner and more uniform side bezels, in contrast to previous Galaxy A series models, which utilized rigid OLED panels.
In addition, CSOT is also anticipated to supply flexible OLED displays for the upcoming Galaxy S26 FE.
