Recent rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra suggest that the company is set to improve its camera system in response to previous concerns. A notable post by the well-known tipster Ice Universe on Weibo indicates that the upcoming flagship will feature enhancements aimed at minimizing lens flare.

The translation from Chinese hints at the introduction of "enhanced lens and coating technology," which may prevent skin tones from appearing yellow in photographs.

Earlier leaks have indicated that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will sport a 12MP selfie camera (Sony IMX874) at the front. The rear camera setup is expected to comprise a 200MP primary sensor (ISOCELL HP2), a 50MP ultra-wide sensor (Samsung JN3), a 50MP periscope telephoto lens (IMX854), and a 12MP telephoto camera (Samsung S5K3LD).

The ISOCELL HP2 sensor is the same one utilized in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, while the S25 Ultra's primary camera was equipped with an f/1.7 aperture, the S26 Ultra is rumored to feature an improved f/1.4 aperture.
