Tecno unveiled the Pova Curve in May last year, and while its successor was expected around the same time this year, leaks suggest the Tecno Pova Curve 2 may launch sooner than anticipated. Recent renders and specifications have surfaced online, providing an early look at the upcoming device.
The Pova Curve 2 is rumored to be powered by the yet-to-be-announced MediaTek Dimensity 7100 SoC. It will run Android 16-based HiOS 16 UI out of the box and offer three memory configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage.

The device will feature a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. Powering the smartphone will be a substantial 8,000mAh battery, supported by 45W fast charging.
Camera-wise, the Pova Curve 2 is expected to include a 13MP front-facing camera and a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor alongside a 2MP secondary sensor.
Additional features include Dolby Atmos audio support, an IR blaster, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
These specifications suggest Tecno is positioning the Pova Curve 2 as a competitive mid-range device with premium features. More details are expected as the launch approaches.
