Oppo has officially launched the Pad Air5 tablet in China, following several teasers and an official unboxing video.
The Oppo Pad Air5 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, coupled with the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. The tablet is available in both Wi-Fi and cellular variants.

It features a 12.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2800 x 1980 pixels and supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen achieves a peak brightness of 900 nits, ensuring clear visibility in various lighting conditions.
The tablet includes an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera, both capable of recording video at 1080p resolution.

Powering the device is a large 10,050mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The Oppo Pad Air5 runs on ColorOS 16 and incorporates several AI-driven features for enhanced user experience.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, 5G support, and a USB Type-C port. The tablet comes in two color choices: Starlight Powder and Space Gray. Additionally, there is a Soft Light version featuring an anti-glare coating on the display.
Pricing for the Wi-Fi model starts at CNY 1,899 (approximately $270) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB/256GB model costs CNY 2,199 ($315), while the 12GB/256GB option is priced at CNY 2,499 ($355). The 5G model is available in an 8GB/128GB configuration for CNY 2,399 ($340).
The Soft Light edition comes in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB variants priced at CNY 2,399 ($340) and CNY 2,699 ($385), respectively. Sales in China will begin on December 31.
