In October, Nissan revealed a minor refresh for the Ariya and Ariya Nismo models. The company has now confirmed their release dates for the Japanese market: the updated Ariya will be available from February 20, followed by the Ariya Nismo on March 19.
The refreshed Ariya features a redesigned front fascia with a body-colored grille and new 20-inch wheels combining aluminum and resin. Buyers can choose from three two-tone and five monotone color options. While the interior layout remains unchanged, a new White/Green interior color option has been introduced.

The infotainment system is now powered by Google, suggesting it runs Android Automotive. This upgrade provides access to Google Maps and the Google Play Store. Additionally, Nissan's battery conditioning system can integrate with the navigation system to automatically manage battery temperature based on driving routes.

New vehicle-to-load support enables the Ariya to supply up to 1,500W of power for external devices. For the Japanese market, suspension tuning has been softened to improve ride comfort. The system also enhances adaptive cruise control by enabling the vehicle to follow the car ahead smoothly during acceleration and deceleration while maintaining a consistent distance.

The updated Ariya Nismo shares the Android Automotive infotainment system, vehicle-to-load function, and advanced intelligent distance control features introduced in the standard model.
