Oppo Pad Air5 Launched with 12.1-inch Display and Dimensity 7300-Ultra SoC

Oppo has officially launched the Pad Air5 in China, following a series of teasers, including an official unboxing video.

The Pad Air5 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, coupled with the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. It is available in both Wi-Fi and cellular variants.

The tablet features a 12.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2800 x 1980 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It supports a peak brightness of 900 nits for vibrant visuals.

Oppo has equipped the Pad Air5 with an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera, both capable of recording 1080p video.

Fueling the device is a 10,050mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The tablet runs on ColorOS 16 and includes various AI-powered features.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, 5G (on cellular models), and a USB Type-C port. The Oppo Pad Air5 comes in two colors: Starlight Powder and Space Gray. Additionally, there is a Soft Light version featuring an anti-glare display coating.

Pricing for the Wi-Fi-only models starts at CNY 1,899 ($270) for the 8GB/128GB configuration. The 8GB/256GB model is priced at CNY 2,199 ($315), while the 12GB/256GB variant costs CNY 2,499 ($355). The 5G variant is available with 8GB/128GB storage at CNY 2,399 ($340).

The Soft Light edition is offered in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB models, priced at CNY 2,399 ($340) and CNY 2,699 ($385), respectively. Sales will begin in China on December 31.
