Alongside the debut of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in China, Xiaomi unveiled its new Watch 5 smartwatch. This model features a circular AMOLED display, dual-chip architecture, and promises up to 6 days of battery life.
The Watch 5 comes with a stainless steel case housing a 1.54-inch circular AMOLED screen. The display offers a 60Hz refresh rate, 480x480-pixel resolution, and brightness levels up to 1,500 nits.

Both the front display and the back feature synthetic sapphire crystal glass. The watch weighs 56 grams without the strap and measures 12.3mm in thickness. It is rated 5ATM for water resistance and runs on Xiaomi's HyperOS 3.
Powering the device is a dual-chip setup combining the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 chip and a Hengxuan 2800 low-power processor.

Health and fitness features include continuous heart rate monitoring, ECG, SpO2, stress tracking, sleep analysis, and support for over 150 sports modes. The watch also offers full-color offline maps and running-specific functionalities.
Equipped with a 930mAh battery, the Watch 5 delivers up to 6 days of usage under typical conditions, extending to 18 days in power-saving mode.

The ECG sensor doubles as a navigation tool by detecting hand muscle movements, enabling actions like answering calls, dismissing alarms, controlling music playback, taking photos remotely, and more.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, and eSIM support.
The Watch 5 is available in silver or black cases with multiple strap options: rubber, leather, and a 3D-printed titanium strap made from TC4 titanium alloy.
Pricing starts at CNY 1,999 ($285) for the rubber strap model. The eSIM variant, which includes leather straps, costs CNY 2,299 ($330). The 3D-printed titanium strap is sold separately for CNY 799 ($110) and comes in black and silver to match the watch case.
