A new rumor from the well-known tipster Ice Universe challenges the previously leaked dimensions of the iPhone Fold that surfaced last week via alleged CAD schematics. As always, these early details should be approached with caution.

According to Ice Universe, the iPhone Fold's inner folding display will measure 7.58 inches diagonally, featuring a 4:3 aspect ratio, while its outer cover screen will be 5.35 inches diagonally.

Meanwhile, Samsung is reportedly developing its own wide-format foldable device to rival the iPhone Fold. While Samsung’s existing foldables emphasize a tall, narrow design, Apple’s decision to pursue a wider, more square-like foldable has attracted significant attention in Korea.

Samsung's upcoming wide foldable is expected to feature a 7.6-inch inner folding display with the same 4:3 aspect ratio as the iPhone Fold, alongside a 5.4-inch cover screen. This makes Samsung's device marginally larger, though the difference may only be noticeable when the two are compared side by side.
