Expanded Access: Poland and India Join the Beta Program

Initially limited to select regions, the One UI 8.5 Beta program for the Galaxy S25 series has now been extended to include users in Poland and India. Owners in these countries can download and test the beta software, gaining early access to upcoming features based on Android 16. Samsung continues to prepare its devices for the anticipated Galaxy S26 series launch, which will incorporate many of these improvements.

Community Feedback: One UI 8.5 Beta Experience

Current poll results show that 50% of participants have already installed the beta, 33.33% prefer not to use beta software, 16.67% indicated it is not available in their country, while no one has yet planned to try it.

Why Is the Beta Still Limited?

Despite growing availability, Samsung has maintained a relatively cautious rollout of the One UI 8.5 Beta. This approach helps ensure bugs are identified and resolved in smaller batches of users before opening the beta to a wider audience. The company's focus remains on delivering a smooth and polished experience ahead of the official stable release.
