Huawei unveiled several new products in China yesterday, including the nova 15 series and the Watch 5 10th Anniversary Edition. Among the launches was the Huawei MatePad 11.5 (2026) tablet.
The MatePad 11.5 (2026) closely resembles the 2025 model introduced in July but features a new processor and some minor upgrades.

The device sports an 11.5-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 2456x1600 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 600 nits. It is also offered in a Soft Light Edition, which includes an anti-glare coating.
The Soft Light Edition is powered by the Kirin T82 SoC, while the standard model runs on the Kirin T82B chipset. Both versions operate on HarmonyOS 5.1, featuring advanced AI capabilities and Huawei’s AI Health Learning 2 system.

Camera-wise, the tablet offers a 13MP rear shooter and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Powering the device is a 10,100mAh battery with 40W fast charging support. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, complemented by quad speakers for enhanced audio performance.
The MatePad 11.5 (2026) is available in four colors: Deep Space Gray, Frost Silver, Feather Sand Purple, and Island Blue. Pre-orders have begun in China via Huawei’s Vmall and other online retailers, with official sales commencing on December 25.
