Honor is stepping into the gaming smartphone market with its upcoming Win series. Officially launching on December 26, we had the opportunity to get an early look and hands-on experience with the device.
The standout feature of the Honor Win is its colossal 10,000mAh battery—yes, that's not a typo.

The Honor Win will be officially unveiled this Thursday, with full specifications expected then. Early teasers highlight impressive gaming capabilities powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, supported by an active cooling fan to keep temperatures optimal. The phone includes 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Honor claims an AnTuTu v10 benchmark score exceeding 4.4 million points, though we haven’t independently verified this yet.

Despite integrating an active cooling fan, the Honor Win carries an IP69K rating, ensuring top-tier dust and water resistance. Additionally, the phone features a dual-speaker setup for immersive audio.

The fan is cleverly concealed within the camera island, making it inconspicuous at first glance.

Similarly, the massive 10,000mAh battery feels surprisingly light and compact. Handling the device, it feels comparable in weight and size to phones with much smaller 6,000mAh or 7,000mAh batteries.
The battery uses Honor’s proprietary silicon-carbon anode technology, branded as the Qinghai Lake battery, supported by a Dujiangyan Power Management System and an E2 power-enhancing chip. The name honors China’s largest salt lake.

The Honor Win shares the same control layout as the Magic8 Pro flagship. All physical buttons—including the volume rocker, power button, and a dedicated camera or gaming-performance key—are located on the right side.

The rear houses three cameras alongside the Ultra Fan. Specific sensor details haven’t been disclosed yet.

Based on the camera app, the lenses offer wide-angle, ultrawide, and a 3x optical zoom, plus up to 6x digital zoom. However, it doesn’t match the advanced telephoto setup of the Magic8 Pro, which features a 3.7x zoom with a large flagship sensor.

The Win series will launch on December 26, comprising the flagship Honor Win and a Win RT variant that features one fewer camera but retains the built-in fan. Color options include White, Black, and Blue—the latter seen in our hands-on. We look forward to learning about a potential global release in the coming weeks.
