Recent leaks suggest that Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone will feature unusually wide dimensions, boasting a wide inner display. In response, Samsung is reportedly developing a similar "wide" foldable device to compete with Apple.
A new report reveals that Samsung's foldable will include a 7.6-inch OLED inner screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio. This device is expected to be unveiled next year, featuring a passport-style design.
The screen size and aspect ratio closely resemble those rumored for Apple's iPhone Fold, which is said to have a 7.58-inch inner display.
Additionally, Samsung’s upcoming foldable is expected to sport a 5.4-inch cover screen and support 25W wireless charging.
Notably, a recent leak included images of Samsung’s unreleased wide foldable phone. These images reportedly come from a survey Samsung conducted to gather feedback on foldable designs.
