Huawei has unveiled its Nova 15 series in China, accompanied by the announcement of the Watch 5 10th Anniversary edition and a new color variant for the Watch GT 6.
The Huawei Watch 5 10th Anniversary edition features a unique nylon braided composite strap emblazoned with a ‘10 Years’ logo, which is also present on the crown.
This special edition retains the same specifications as the standard Watch 5, available in both 46mm and 42mm case sizes. It sports an LTPO AMOLED display protected by Sapphire glass and is equipped with the X-Tap sensor, offering health measurements such as ECG, PPG, and HRV.
The Watch 5 supports eSIM connectivity and includes over 100 sport modes. It promises up to 5 days of battery life with the always-on display activated, extending to 11 days in power-saving mode.
In addition, Huawei introduced a new ‘Ice Blue’ color option for the 41mm Watch GT 6, joining existing colors Floating White, Flowing Purple, Phantom Black, and Saddle Palm.
The Ice Blue Watch GT 6 features a fluororubber strap and retains the same hardware as other color variants. It sports a 1.32-inch AMOLED display and the TrueSense health system, with up to 7 days of battery life.
Pricing for the Watch 5 10th Anniversary edition starts at CNY 2,799 (approximately $399) for the 42mm, and CNY 2,899 (about $410) for the 46mm model. The Watch GT 6 41mm in Ice Blue is priced at CNY 1,488 (roughly $210). The new Watch GT 6 color variant will be available in China starting January 1, while the Watch 5 10th Anniversary edition is already on sale.
