Samsung has officially unveiled the Exynos 2600 chipset, which is rumored to power the upcoming Galaxy S26 series in select markets.
According to a recent Korean report, Samsung will also equip the Galaxy Z Flip8 with the Exynos 2600 SoC. The Galaxy Z Flip7 was the first foldable device to feature an Exynos processor, specifically the Exynos 2500. It is therefore expected that its successor, the Flip8, will adopt the next-generation Exynos 2600. Although the Flip8 is still several months away from launch, this early confirmation offers valuable insight into Samsung’s chipset strategy.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is reportedly set to continue using Qualcomm's flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Elite, following its predecessor’s lead.
