A few days ago, Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, confirmed that the company is developing a new lineup called Turbo. Previously rumored, this new series will combine the powerful performance typical of OnePlus flagships with the longest battery life seen in its category.
Regarding the battery capacity, Li Jie recently revealed that the OnePlus Turbo will feature the largest battery ever included in a OnePlus device, surpassing even the Ace 6T’s current record-holder 8,300 mAh cell.
OnePlus 15RAccording to a well-known Weibo leaker, the Turbo's battery will be 9,000 mAh, with the first device launching in China as early as January. The leaker also suggests that the Turbo will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, similar to the Ace 6T and the international OnePlus 15R model. Another source has indicated that the Turbo series will initially consist of two models, both equipped with 9,000 mAh batteries, 165Hz refresh rate displays, and Snapdragon 8 series chipsets.
