Honor's Magic V5 was one of last year's leading foldable smartphones. Now, early specifications for its successor, the Magic V6, have surfaced. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the device is expected to launch in China by mid-2026.

The Magic V6 will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and will offer significant battery improvements. Honor is reportedly testing two battery variants for the foldable.

The first model features a 6,900mAh dual-cell battery, likely intended for international markets. The second boasts a larger 7,200mAh dual-cell battery, expected to launch in China. Both versions will support wireless charging, though charging speeds remain undisclosed.

Another major upgrade is a 200MP main camera, previously rumored earlier this year. This will be complemented by a periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Additional enhancements include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, improved dust and water resistance, and an ultra-thin design.
