Oppo Reno15 Pro Max Appears on Geekbench, Hinting at Upcoming Global Launch

Source: Date:

Oppo has already released the Reno15 and Reno15 Pro in China, but rumors continue to swirl around the unreleased Reno15 Pro Max. The latest development suggests this model may have been spotted in the Geekbench database under the model number CPH2811.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, the same SoC found in the Reno15 and Reno15 Pro. The prototype listing shows it equipped with 12GB of RAM and running Android 16 with ColorOS 16 out of the box.

The launch strategy for the Reno15 Pro Max remains unclear. It may be intended for global markets, explaining why it wasn't launched alongside the other two models in China. Confusingly, previous rumors in late October suggested the Pro Max would remain exclusive to the Chinese market. However, Oppo's model numbers beginning with "CPH" usually designate devices for markets outside China.

Earlier speculation indicated the Reno15 Pro Max might feature the same specifications as the Reno15 Pro, except for the chipset, which was rumored to be the more powerful Dimensity 9400. This new Geekbench listing, however, points to the Dimensity 8450 instead, adding more uncertainty.

We will continue to monitor for official announcements and provide updates as more information becomes available.
