The Redmi Note 15 5G was officially unveiled for markets outside China yesterday, but its arrival in India is still awaited. After an extensive teaser campaign, Redmi India has finally confirmed the Indian launch date: January 6, 2026.

Interestingly, Redmi India seems to be focusing solely on this particular Note 15 model, though the series includes five variants globally. Whether the other models will also be launched in India remains unclear, but current teasers suggest that only this version will be available locally.

The Redmi Note 15 5G is rumored to be priced starting at INR 22,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, with the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version costing around INR 24,999. The device features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080x2392 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of 3,200 nits.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and equipped with a 108MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 20MP front-facing camera. The phone packs a 5,520mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging.
