Samsung recently unveiled its new Exynos 2600 chipset, which is expected to power some versions of the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. According to a report from Korea, Samsung will also equip the Galaxy Z Flip8 with this latest Exynos SoC. This marks a continuation from the Galaxy Z Flip7, which was the first foldable to use an Exynos processor—the Exynos 2500—so it is unsurprising that the Flip8 will feature its successor.

In contrast, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is reported to adopt Qualcomm's newest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, continuing the trend set by its predecessor.
