The Redmi Note 15 Pro+, initially launched in China a few months ago, has now made its global debut. However, the international version features notable differences compared to the Chinese model.
Most prominently, while the Chinese Redmi Note 15 Pro+ sports a 50MP primary camera, the international variant boasts a 200MP HPE primary sensor with 2x and 4x in-sensor zoom. This camera supports five focal lengths ranging from 23mm to 92mm. Accompanying this is an 8MP ultrawide camera, consistent with the Chinese version, but the international model omits the 50MP telephoto lens.

Battery capacity varies significantly between the models. The Chinese edition includes a 7,000 mAh battery with 90W fast charging, whereas the global model is equipped with a smaller 6,500 mAh silicon carbon cell supporting faster 100W charging as well as 22.5W reverse wired charging. Interestingly, despite the smaller battery, the international model is thicker than its Chinese counterpart.
Both versions share a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,200 nits. However, the resolution differs slightly: 2,772 x 1,280 pixels for the global model versus 2,772 x 1,220 pixels in the Chinese version. Moreover, the international model’s screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the Chinese model uses Dragon Trail Crystal glass.

Under the hood, both variants run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Common features include a 32MP selfie camera, Xiaomi’s HyperOS, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC support.
The global Redmi Note 15 Pro+ also offers an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio certifications, eSIM capability, and robust dust and water resistance with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings.

Additionally, the phone supports Xiaomi’s Offline Communication feature, enabling kilometer-level device-to-device voice communication without network coverage. It includes the Xiaomi Surge T1S Tuner to enhance connectivity across Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and cellular networks.
