The Redmi Note 15 series is expanding globally with five new models, including the two Pro variants. These new devices offer incremental upgrades over their predecessors, focusing on battery capacity, display technology, and camera enhancements.
Redmi Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro 5G
The Redmi Note 15 Pro features a 6,500 mAh battery with 45W wired charging. The Note 15 Pro 5G steps up with a slightly larger 6,580 mAh silicon–carbon battery. Both models support 45W wired charging; however, the Note 15 Pro 5G offers faster reverse wired charging at 22.5W, compared to 18W on the Note 15 Pro.
Battery and Charging Improvements
Design-wise, both models sport flat displays. The Note 15 Pro 5G is equipped with a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display featuring a 1.5K resolution (2772 x 1280 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Note 15 Pro comes with a slightly smaller 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution (2392 x 1080 pixels) and the same 120Hz refresh rate. Both devices support 12-bit color output and deliver a peak local brightness of 3,200 nits. The Pro 5G model also offers a higher 480Hz touch sampling rate versus 240Hz on the Pro.
Both models are equipped with dual stereo speakers supporting Dolby Atmos. The ingress protection rating has been improved: the Note 15 Pro is now IP65-certified, compared to IP64 previously, while the Note 15 Pro 5G boasts IP68 and IP69K ratings, an upgrade over last year’s IP68.

Under the hood, both phones feature updated MediaTek chipsets with modest enhancements in CPU clock speeds and NPU capabilities. The Note 15 Pro runs on the Helio G200-Ultra, whereas the Note 15 Pro 5G is powered by the Dimensity 7400-Ultra. Configurations include 8GB or 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.

In photography, both models share a formidable 200MP primary sensor (ISOCELL S5KHPE). The Note 15 Pro 5G pairs this with an 8MP ultrawide lens (OV08F10), while the 4G model uses an 8MP ultrawide sensor (GC08A8). Selfie cameras differ: the Note 15 Pro sports a 32MP front camera (OV32D40), whereas the Pro 5G features a 20MP front shooter (OV20B).
Both devices ship with HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, incorporating Xiaomi’s enhanced AI suite. Features include AI Erase Pro, AI Remove Reflection, AI Image Expansion, and AI Image Enhancement.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro is available in Titanium, Glacier Blue, and Black, starting at €349/£249 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
