The OnePlus 15R was launched globally yesterday, featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC and a large 7,400mAh battery. While the phone is available in two color variants worldwide, India gets an exclusive Ace Edition with a distinctive Electric Violet finish.
Outside India, the device is offered in Charcoal Black and Mint Breeze colors. The Indian market’s OnePlus 15R Ace Edition stands out with its Electric Violet hue, a fiberglass rear panel, and unique 'Ace' branding etched on the back.
The OnePlus 15R is essentially a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 6T, sold in China with the same Electric Violet color and Ace branding. The main difference is the battery size, as the Ace 6T is equipped with a larger 8,300mAh battery.
Aside from minor differences in weight and thickness, the Ace Edition matches the specifications of other OnePlus 15R variants. The Electric Violet model weighs 213g compared to 218g or 219g for the other versions, and is slightly slimmer at 8.1mm versus 8.3mm thickness.
The OnePlus 15R Ace Edition is priced at INR 47,999 (approximately $530) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. It runs on Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 and features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor, and a 32MP front-facing camera.
