The vivo V70 has recently received certification for sale in India and has now cleared the FCC, signaling its imminent global launch. The FCC documents reveal that the device will run Android 16, likely customized with OriginOS 6.

The V70 supports 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, and NFC. One variant will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Additionally, a Geekbench listing suggests there will be an 8GB RAM option, with the phone powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.

Aside from the chipset, the vivo V70 is expected to be a rebranded version of the S50, which was officially unveiled in China just yesterday. If this is accurate, the V70 will feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260x2750 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will house a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom and OIS, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 50MP front-facing camera, and a large 6,500mAh battery supporting 90W fast wired charging.
