Redmi recently teased the global launch of the Note 15 5G, confirming key features such as a 108MP main camera and a 5,520 mAh battery supporting 45W wired fast charging.
Now, one of the most important specifications has been officially revealed: the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, quietly unveiled by Qualcomm in September. This chipset shares similarities with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2.

The Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 features an octa-core CPU setup with four Cortex-A78 cores clocked up to 2.4GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores up to 1.8GHz, paired with the Adreno 710 GPU.
Redmi assures users of "48-month lag-free performance" with this chipset, highlighting a 10% GPU improvement and a 30% CPU boost over the previous generation. However, it remains unclear whether these gains are compared to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, its direct predecessor, or the Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset used in the Redmi Note 14 5G.
Earlier leaks suggest the Redmi Note 15 5G will come equipped with a 6.83-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, an 8MP ultrawide camera complementing the 108MP main sensor, and a 20MP front-facing camera.
