Xiaomi is expected to officially unveil the 17 Ultra in China on December 26. Fans have been curious whether this flagship smartphone will receive a global release—now, certification documents indicate it will.
Although Xiaomi has yet to make an official announcement, the FCC has approved the global version of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The model number 2512BPNDAG, as listed in an IMEI database, corresponds to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The suffix "G" confirms this variant is intended for international markets.

The device will launch with Android 16, customized with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 interface. Connectivity features include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth LE, and support for wireless charging.

Previous leaks suggest the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. As Xiaomi’s premium camera flagship, it is rumored to feature a powerful 1-inch type main sensor, emphasizing its photography capabilities.
