The vivo V70 has recently received certification for sale in India and has now also passed through the FCC, signaling an imminent global launch. The FCC documents reveal that the device will run on Android 16, likely featuring vivo's custom OriginOS 6 skin.

The V70 supports 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, and NFC. It will be available in configurations including one with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. A recent Geekbench listing indicates there will also be an 8GB RAM variant powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.

While featuring a different chipset, the V70 is expected to be a rebranded version of the S50, which was officially launched in China just yesterday. If this holds true, the V70 will likely include a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260x2750 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.

For photography, it is expected to sport a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 50MP front-facing selfie camera. Additionally, the phone will feature a large 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast wired charging.
