The Honor Magic8 Lite will follow a similar path as the Magic8 Pro, but not without some regional compromises. Honor has confirmed that the Lite models sold in Europe will feature smaller batteries than their Latin American counterparts.
Specifically, European Magic8 Lite phones will include a 7,500mAh battery and weigh 189g, while the versions released in Latin America will boast an 8,300mAh battery with a slightly increased weight of 193g.

Currently, only two battery options exist for the Magic8 Lite—none beyond these have been announced. For comparison, the Magic8 Pro shows even more variation: the Chinese model carries a 7,200mAh battery, the global version has 7,100mAh, and the European model is equipped with a 6,270mAh battery.
Charging speeds also vary on the Pro models, with 120W supported in China and 100W in Europe and other regions. However, the Lite version adopts a uniform global standard, offering 66W wired charging exclusively.
In our review, we tested the European 7,500mAh Magic8 Lite and recorded a strong 18-hour Active Use Score. The Latin American model, with its larger battery, is expected to deliver even longer endurance. Charging performance is swift: it reaches 49% in 30 minutes and completes a full charge in approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. If the charging capacity remains consistent for the LATAM model, the additional battery capacity may slightly extend charging times.
So far, Honor has officially announced the Magic8 Lite launch only in Europe, scheduled for January. This announcement indirectly confirms that the device will also arrive in Latin America, with further details expected soon.
