One of the most anticipated features is finally arriving on Waze: the display of traffic lights. Although Google Maps has offered this functionality for years—and both apps are owned by Google—Waze is only now beginning to integrate traffic light indicators into its navigation experience.
The feature is currently in a limited rollout, being tested exclusively in Israel. At this early stage, Waze will show up to three traffic lights during navigation to avoid cluttering the user interface.

Interestingly, when users browse the app without activating navigation mode, all nearby traffic lights will be visible. While the global rollout date remains unknown, this testing phase suggests that the feature will be available more widely in the near future.
