Rumors indicate that Xiaomi will officially announce the Xiaomi 17 Ultra on December 26. Renowned insider Digital Chat Station has disclosed details about several devices expected to debut alongside Xiaomi’s flagship model.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, will launch alongside two new Redmi midrange smartphones, likely the Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Pro.
The Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to feature MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 8500 chipset, while the Turbo 5 Pro will be equipped with the Dimensity 9500 SoC. The Pro variant is anticipated to include a massive 9,000 mAh battery with 100W fast charging, whereas the standard model may offer a slightly smaller but still substantial 7,500 mAh battery.

In addition to smartphones, Xiaomi plans to introduce a new flagship smartwatch that supports eSIM for standalone connectivity without requiring a smartphone. This smartwatch reportedly houses a large 930mAh battery and runs on Xiaomi HyperOS. Furthermore, the launch event is expected to unveil a new midrange tablet, two pairs of true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, and a range of IoT devices.
Blind pre-orders for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra have already started. The flagship is expected to be priced similarly to its predecessor in China, though global pricing details remain undisclosed.
