OnePlus 15 Pre-Orders Begin; Samsung Galaxy S25 Series and More Phones Get Discounts

Source: Date:

Shipping delays are common this time of year, but there’s still an opportunity to purchase a new phone and receive it before the holidays.

That said, the OnePlus 15 is not among them. The company’s US website lists January shipping dates, though the device is available for pre-order on Amazon starting at the $900 price point for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage model.

Another option is the Nothing Phone (3), which, while not as powerful as initially expected, has seen price adjustments to reflect its capabilities and is currently available. It features a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display (1260p+, LTPS), Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, and a 5,150mAh battery with 65W wired and 15W wireless charging. The phone offers four 50MP cameras on the back, including a 1/1.3" main sensor, a 3x periscope zoom, and a 114° ultra-wide lens, along with a 50MP front-facing camera.

For those seeking matching accessories, the Nothing Headphone (1) and Ear (3) feature the brand’s signature transparent design and are currently discounted.

Turning to Samsung’s lineup, the Galaxy S25+ remains a reliable flagship choice. Though pricier than the Galaxy S25 FE, it delivers superior performance and battery life. The FE offers a comparable user experience at a lower price, making it a worthwhile consideration. For a detailed comparison, see our Galaxy S25+ vs. S25 FE article.

The Galaxy S25 Edge, despite being less successful commercially, offers a premium build that is slimmer and lighter than other S25 models. Although it lacks a dedicated zoom lens—the 10MP 3x sensor is outdated—it maintains a comparable camera experience. The S25+ provides a larger battery and longer battery life. For more information, refer to our Galaxy S25 Edge vs. S25+ comparison.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra and S25 models are also available through Samsung US and Amazon. Samsung offers better pricing on the Ultra, while Amazon sells the standard S25 model at a slightly lower price.

Back to OnePlus tablets: the OnePlus Pad 3 features a large 13.2-inch IPS LCD with 12-bit color, Dolby Vision support, and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and houses a 12,140mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

The OnePlus Pad 2 offers a more affordable option while still delivering strong performance with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a high-quality 12.1-inch IPS LCD display (10-bit, Dolby Vision, 144Hz). It includes a 9,510mAh battery with 67W charging.

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10+ offers a comparable size with a 12.4-inch 120Hz OLED display, powered by the older Dimensity 9300+ chipset and equipped with a 10,090mAh battery supporting 45W charging. It also features Samsung DeX multitasking, though OnePlus’ Open Canvas is highly regarded (see our Pad 3 review for details).

The Motorola Edge (2025) offers a premium design with a curved 6.7-inch 1220p+ OLED display (10-bit, 120Hz) and a faux leather back. However, its Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset is considered mid-range. It features a 5,200mAh battery with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor (1/1.56"), a 10MP 3x telephoto, a 50MP ultra-wide, plus a 50MP front camera.

The Motorola Moto G Power (2025) is budget-friendly but comes with compromises. Though it features an IP69 rating, microSD slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, and 15W wireless charging for its 5,000mAh battery (30W wired), the Dimensity 6300 chipset is slow, the camera is limited, and the 6.8-inch IPS LCD suffers from uniformity issues.
