Oppo’s upcoming flagship, the Find X9 Ultra, is anticipated to feature significant upgrades over its predecessor, the Find X8 Ultra, including a substantially larger battery. While the official launch date remains unconfirmed, an Oppo executive has revealed key details about the device’s battery capacity.
In response to a comment on Weibo, Oppo’s Zhou Yibao confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra will be equipped with a battery exceeding 7,000mAh.
Oppo Find X8 UltraConsidering that the Find X8 Ultra houses a 6,100mAh battery, the Find X9 Ultra’s suggested 7,000mAh-plus battery marks a substantial improvement. There is speculation that the new device could feature a 7,500mAh battery, aligning with the recently launched Find X9 Pro, which already includes a 7,500mAh power unit.
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is expected to debut in April 2026, running on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It is likely to sport a quad-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 200MP primary sensor, a 3x optical zoom periscope telephoto lens, an ultrawide lens, and a secondary periscope telephoto lens with a longer optical zoom range.
