Samsung is set to release the Galaxy A37 and A57 next month, typically leading to price drops for existing models. However, recent reports indicate that Galaxy A series prices in India will increase by approximately INR 1,000.

In addition, the Galaxy A56 is expected to see a price increase of around INR 2,000. These new pricing adjustments are anticipated to take effect as early as next Monday.
The primary factor behind this price hike appears to be the rising costs of memory chips. Online discussions have highlighted a shortage in memory components, driven by growing demand for HBM and DDR5 DRAM chips, which are critical for AI data centers.
If memory chip shortages are indeed causing these increases, other smartphone manufacturers may also raise their prices. This trend is already evident with recent flagship launches, including the OnePlus 15, Poco F8 series, vivo X300 series, and iQOO 15, all debuting at higher price points than their predecessors.
