The Honor Magic8 Lite will offer different battery capacities depending on the region, following a pattern seen with the Magic8 Pro. Honor has confirmed that the Lite models sold in Europe will have smaller batteries than those available in Latin America.
Specifically, European Magic8 Lite units come equipped with 7,500mAh batteries and weigh 189 grams, while Latin American versions boast larger 8,300mAh batteries and weigh slightly more at 193 grams.

Currently, there is no third battery option for the Magic8 Lite. For context, the Magic8 Pro features varied battery capacities: 7,200mAh in China, 7,100mAh globally, and 6,270mAh in the EU.
Charging speeds also differ among Pro models—120W in China and 100W in the EU and rest of the world. However, the Lite model offers consistent 66W wired charging worldwide.
In our review of the European 7,500mAh Magic8 Lite, the device achieved an impressive 18-hour Active Use Score. The Latin American variant, with its larger battery, is expected to deliver even longer battery life. Charging remains fast, reaching 49% in 30 minutes and fully charging in approximately 70 minutes. Assuming charging wattage remains unchanged, the Latin American model’s charging speed may be slightly slower due to the increased battery capacity.
Honor has officially announced a European launch of the Magic8 Lite, anticipated in January. This indirectly confirms plans for a Latin American release, with further launch details expected soon.
