Waze is finally launching a highly requested feature: displaying traffic lights during navigation. While Google Maps has included traffic light indicators for years, it has taken Waze—also owned by Google—some time to integrate this function.
Currently, the feature is in limited testing and is available only in Israel. During navigation, Waze will show up to three upcoming traffic lights, likely to maintain a clear and uncluttered interface.

When used without navigation mode, the app displays all nearby traffic lights. Although no global rollout date has been announced, the feature’s testing phase suggests a broader release is imminent.
