The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic, initially promised four years of operating system updates since their August 2021 launch, are now receiving the One UI 8 Watch update, built on Wear OS 6.
Currently, the update is rolling out to Wi-Fi models in South Korea. The firmware version ends with “JYK4” and includes a substantial download exceeding 1 GB.

The rollout is gradual and may take some time to reach all regions. Owners of LTE-enabled versions should expect a longer wait before the update becomes available.
Earlier, Samsung released the One UI 8 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch FE, a 2024 model derived from the 40mm Galaxy Watch4.
