Apple is experiencing considerable turnover among its senior executives. Last month, a key designer behind the iPhone Air left the company. Now, Bloomberg reports that Alan Dye, Vice President of Human Interface Design since 2015, is also departing.
Dye will join Meta to lead a new design studio, with Steve Lemay succeeding him at Apple. Lemay has contributed to every Apple interface design since 1999, according to CEO Tim Cook.
Apple has also announced that Katherine Adams, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, and Lisa Jackson, Vice President of Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives, will be leaving the company.
Jackson is scheduled to retire at the end of January. Until Adams retires in late 2026, she will temporarily oversee Jackson's Government Affairs organization. Meanwhile, the Environment and Social Initiatives division will move under the leadership of Sabih Khan, Apple’s Chief Operating Officer.
