Apple is reportedly gearing up to launch its long-awaited folding iPhone next year, and recent reports suggest that the tech giant is highly optimistic about its potential success in the market.

Rumors indicate that Apple has upped its shipment forecasts for the iPhone Fold, projecting to deliver 8-10 million units in 2026 and 20-25 million units in 2027. These figures mark a substantial increase from previous estimates of 6-8 million and 10-15 million units, respectively, showcasing Apple's confidence in the device's consumer appeal.

Furthermore, speculations hint at Apple's plans to introduce a foldable iPad in 2028, with shipment estimates ranging from 0.5-1 million units for that year. It appears that Apple views the foldable iPad as a niche product, whereas the iPhone Fold is expected to attract a wider audience.

In addition to its lineup of foldable devices, Apple is rumored to be working on the Vision Air headset, slated for a 2027 release. This new headset aims to address key concerns raised by users of the Vision Pro model, offering a lighter design and more affordable price point. Shipments for the Vision Air are projected to hit 1 million units in 2027, surpassing the figures reported for the Vision Pro since its launch.
