After initially receiving lackluster scores on Geekbench, Samsung's Exynos 2600 chipset has returned with significantly improved results. The latest benchmark testing revealed a single-core score of 3,309 and a multi-core score of 11,256, showcasing the chip's flagship-level performance.

Key enhancements to the Exynos 2600 include a higher CPU clock speed, with the prime core now reaching 3.8 GHz, performance cores at 3.26 GHz, and other cores at 2.76 GHz. These updates have positioned the Exynos 2600 in direct competition with top-tier processors like Apple's M3 and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Anticipated as the first mobile SoC fabricated on a 2nm process, the Exynos 2600 promises significant improvements in NPU performance and on-device AI support compared to its predecessor, the Exynos 2500. Samsung is expected to introduce the Exynos 2600 in January with the launch of the Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Edge.
