Windows 10 Extended Support Program: What You Need to Know

Source: Date:

Windows 10 users can now benefit from an Extended Support Program to receive security updates beyond the end-of-support date in October 2025. Microsoft is offering this program as an alternative to upgrading to Windows 11, which is more hardware-intensive.

To enroll in the Windows 10 ESU program, users must use a dedicated app that will be rolled out in July. This app is necessary to ensure ongoing security updates and support for Windows 10.

While Windows 11 offers advanced features and AI capabilities, some users prefer to stick with Windows 10 for its familiarity and compatibility with their current hardware.
