Exciting First Software Update for Nothing Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro
Just a week after their grand unveiling at MWC in Barcelona, the Nothing Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro are receiving their inaugural software update, much to the delight of early adopters. This update comes packed with a host of enhanced features and functionality that aim to optimize the user experience and bring the devices to life right out of the box.
The new update includes an improved Essential Key interaction, allowing users to quickly save screens with a press while long-pressing enables voice note recording alongside screenshots. Additionally, users will find new Essential Space widgets available for both the home screen and lock screen, enhancing accessibility.

The update also showcases a revamped Essential Space home page, featuring an Upcoming section for streamlined task management. Enhancements to Smart Insight ensure it displays in the system language for better user comprehension.
Camera enthusiasts will appreciate the introduction of Camera Presets, offering optimal settings for various scenes, which can be shared and imported. Additional updates include improved camera performance, clarity in macro mode, and more accurate background blur in portrait mode, providing a refined photographic experience.
The Nothing Gallery app now features AI-powered face and scene classification, along with optimized interaction and user experience. A new power-off password verification feature enhances security, alongside various bug fixes that enhance overall system stability.
